Reviews after my Second Sculptra session!

Good day!

Am gonna post some pics of my face before going for my last sculptra session at Celevenus on 04th Sept.
Its been abt one month plus since my second sculptra and I think the result is so gradual that no one notice anything.. hmmm good or bad? I still see my eyebags when taking pics but I must say it is getting better and better.
Received a few emails qns on sculptra which I will share some here just in case you might have the same qns.

1) How much did I pay in total?  Ans : S$4280/- inclusive of GST
Area include my temples, eyebrows, eyebags, laughing lines. Price varies depending on area.

2) Can I do sculptra on my forehead? Ans : I dont know. But I will ask the doc when I go for my next session.

3) Do you massage your massage after sculptra? Ans : Yes. I have to! And I think I've missed out this impt point. After sculptra, your face will feel alittle blue black pain and damn tight also. It is a must to massage at least 5 times for the next 3-5 days.

4) How do you feel about sculptra overall? Ans : As the result is gradual, I can only give my final views about it maybe around December. But so far, after the 2 sessions, I can say I will give positive feedbacks about sculptra.

5) Is it really that painful? Ans : Different people have different threshold for pain. Really depends how scared you are when it comes to needles. Some bloggers who went never mention about pain at all, so maybe they are ok with it. As for me, I really think its quite painful.

Keep those qns coming! I can help ask Doc Dylan Chua even if I cant answer you. I understand that sometimes we feel paisey just to step in to ask all the qns and not do it in the end. (Cos we need to think abt it mah!)  Say again huh, I am not paid or can get any freebies for all these. I just wanna help any ladies who is keen in looking better/younger/prettier cos sometimes really damn sian to look in the mirror and see those lines and bags on our face!
I am a very visual girl and I think posting pictures are the best for you to see. Cos say so much cannot see also no use right? Will try to take more pics to add on to this post later k? Havent been taking selfie recently cos really busy at work and by the time I reach home, I really just want to rest.

My second sculptra at Celevenus

Sorry for the delay. Been busy at work.
Second sculptra was supposed to be in May, but I Was very very reluctant because of the pain. I keep changing dates.
Did abit of research and found out that some clinics actually use a vibrator on their client's face when doing injections on face so that the brain will be distracted. As Celevenus does not have such service, I actually step into an adult shop to get me the most powerful vibrator. LOL. I was desperate. Anything that can help, I am willing to try.
Did my sculptra finally on the 26th June.

I was so nervous I forgot to ask the assistants to help pictures during the injections. But one thing for sure is that the vibrator WORKS. Not that I didnt felt any pain at all.. But really much reduced pain.

Doc Dylan Chua keep making me laugh also helps in reducing the pain. I guess being the only patient who brought her own vibrator into the clinic really is kanna funny. 

And too my surprise, there wasnt much swelling as compared to the first sculptra. I was on standby to even take leave, but no, this time round isnt necessary.

As of today, I do see slight improvement, and I know I cannot expect miracle also la. Below are some before and after pics.

This pic was taken on 10/7 which is the most recent. Overall Better? You decide.

I didnt do any filter to my photographs I am so new this I dont know how to also. LOL. Do forgive me as my blog is very simple. I know there are many ladies my age who want to look better but didnt dare to do it cause really dont know what the results might be. I hope my simple blog can help a tiny bit. My reviews on my first Sculptra after two months

So, its been 2 months since I had my first sculptra, will be going for my second session next week! Damn scared sia ! Anyway.... have to show picture so that  I can compare to see if have improvement or not. Basically, I see only slight improvement after the first session, my face did seems fuller (like put on weight)  but it didnt really fill up my uneven face at the side.. hmm I think show picture better la! I am never good with describing things.
But I was told that for Sculptra, I have to be really patient.. what I am afraid of is... my face will get plumper cos my face is already sooo big, and if it becomes plumper, it will look even bigger!  As you can see in the picture , my face look fat! but the uneven sides still look uneven! (arrows)
I will check with Doc next week!

Eyelash extension @ Highbrow

Alright! Now we come to Eyelashes.
So recently my girlfriend jio me to get the groupon promotion for eyelash extension at this place call Highbrow at Star Vista.
I've never been keen in getting eyelash extension... but since its cheap (think ard S$45?) and plus one free touch up.. I thot might as well try.

It was mostly painless except for some parts where I think she needs to readjust the lash.. and it HURTS when she pulled out the lash! I really dont know whether my own lash was being pulled out not.. I really hope not. Anyway.. I am quite happy with the results.. I told her I want the natural looking kind.. so she decide for me.

I did my eyelash extension before my eyebrow embroidery...lol. Overall, I am not quite use to the feeling of having fake lashes on, plus, I am quite rough also.. Most prob wont sign any package with them..

My eyebrow embroidery experience!

Close friends will know I hate to draw my eyebrows. My eyebrows is the cause of me being late for work almost every morning. Not only they are thin, they are different. YES, I think they look different. Getting them to look the same to me is a big problem cause I dont really know how to draw them. My last embroidery was done 3 years ago and I feel it was done quite badly. I did it at Bishan.

So this time round, I've decided to visit Dainty Beaute located at West Coast Plaza. 

My best friend Lorraine recommended me there. She say her lady boss did hers there and it was very well done. I must say the price is not within my budget but I make an appointment with them anyway. 

After chatting with Bernice and knowing what kind of eyebrows I like, she suggested that I go a thicker fuller brows with no arch so that I will look sweeter. My face looks too fierce.

She then draw the eyebrows she thinks will look good on me to make me 'Gian'. I must say I was convinced by her. She is really Good! And guess what? One of Singapore top make up artist, Clarence Lee goes to her as well!!!

Here comes the damage : $980 with two touch up. After thinking for a while, I went ahead with it. 

The price is for people who had done eyebrow embroidery elsewhere. If you have virgin brows.. then it will be much cheaper, think less than $800

Day ONE

I love my brows to the MAX! Not only it will save me alot alot of my morning time, I now also have fuller thicker brows!! (so korean style! super love! ) 

EVERY CENT WORTH IT! 

Its been 4 days (25/05) and my eyebrows are beginning to fade a little which is normal. One side of my brow is lighter than the other. Have to tahan till the next touch up which is 4 weeks later.

My Sculptra Experience !

Today i will share my Sculptra experience! 
First of all, what is Sculptra??

Sculptra® Aesthetic (injectable poly-L-lactic acid) is an anti-aging facial injection treatment that can give you subtle results over time. Replacing lost collagen.

So basically its injecting Poly -L lactic acid into your face.. but you have to be patient for the results. It will take months for your skin to produce the collagen. And the results can last you 2-3 years depending on individual.
Therefore, as compare to filler, it is more long lasting and natural. 

One has to go thru the injection 3 times, with a 2 months break in-between. Phew! 
I just had mine done on 23/3/2015 at Celevenus as well. I must say it was quite painful and I had ard 10+ injections on my face but what made it worst was swelling part after that. 
And I wasnt told my the assistants that I will swell like 5 days. I mean it wasnt a big deal but because of that I had to cancel my appts made beforehand. They should have let me know so can I re-schedule my appts. OR have sculptra done another day. 

Till date, I did see a very slight improvement and can only wait to see if it really works. Paid S$4k (not inclusive of GST) for the package.This is not a sponsored ad so please source for around cheaper packages. I seriously think you might find better deals elsewhere. For me, I guess I was kinda 'talk into' the whole thing so it was an impulse thing. Dont get me wrong, I wasnt being forced or anything, just thought I should have done some sourcing around in the first place.

My Botox experience

I believe all everyone knows what Botox is , and its benefits. For me, I've always got a big face and a squarish jaw, so botox has definitely help me 'slim' down my face.

Guess its not difficult to tell which is the before and which is the after. I really like the results. 

Did mine at Celevenus Wellness and Aesthetics located at Ngee Ann City. I bought a package for jaw botox. Basically its 0.3.6.9 package (4 times). So after the first injection, I will have to go back after 3 months, then 6 months after the second visit and 9 months after the 3rd visit.

I was told this will retain the shape of my face longer. Paid around 2 thousand plus. 

As for forehead, see how clear the right pic is?? *love* love*

For those who do not know what botox is :

BOTOX: a drug prepared from botulin, used medically to treat certain muscular conditions and cosmetically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralysing facial muscles.

Am not promoting or encouraging anyone to do, just sharing experience :)

Finally! Been wanting to start a blog for the longest time..
Well .. in this blog of mine, i would like to share all my aesthetic experience that i've done.
i am 38 this year and am planning to go korea this dec to get my eyes and nose done.
ok time to show myself.

This is me... 11 years ago. 

How I wish that I can turn back the clock. Am not longing to look like some actress, just wanna look younger.

So far, I've done botox a couple of times, on forehead and jaw. 

Recently, I tried something call sculptra (horrendous experience) will explain more later.
